We recommend that all gymnasts new to Brackley Gymnastics School begin with a trial session.
All trials are charged at £5 per gymnast and provide the opportunity for your child to experience the environment and meet the coaches.
⬅️ Please complete the Trial Request Form to get started
Once we have received your request form, you will be emailed available session options. Upon agreement, we will provide all information required to make payment for your trail and cement you trial session.
On the day of the trial
Please arrive 5 minutes early to complete a registration form and allow your child time to become familiar with the environment before the session begins.
What to bring:
-
Fitted clothing (leotard or sportswear – no hoodies)
-
Hair tied back
-
Water bottle
-
No jewellery (of any kind)

We aim to allocate trial sessions based on your child’s age and the information provided, with the aim of placing them in the most suitable group from the outset. However, where appropriate, coaches may recommend an alternative session that may be better suited to your child’s ability, experience, or ongoing development.
Membership Fees
Monthly fees are £28 for a 55-minute session and £42 for a 90-minute session, payable on the 1st of each calendar month.
BGS operates across 48 weeks per year, closing for two weeks during the summer holidays (weeks 3 and 4) and two weeks over the Christmas period.
These closure periods do not affect monthly payments, as fees are averaged across the year to keep costs manageable for families and to ensure consistent venue hire.
Administration Fee
An annual £8 administration fee per gymnast is due each May. This covers processing, your child’s Individual Development Plan, and annual club administration.
Mandatory IGA Legacy Gymnast Insurance
All gymnasts must hold valid IGA Legacy Gymnast Insurance before participating in sessions.
Parents will need to:
-
Create an account (if new)
-
Select Legacy Gymnast Membership
-
Complete registration with payment and link membership to Brackley Gymnastics School.
Annual membership (2026) is £17.99 per gymnast. IGA may offer a reduced fee on a pro rata basis depending on the time of enrolment, and membership is renewable each September.
Please note that IGA membership and insurance fees are set externally and are subject to change outside of Brackley Gymnastics School’s control.
Club Cancellations
In the event of an unlikely club cancellation, an alternative session will be offered where available, or an individual session refund will be provided.
Sessions at Brackley Gymnastics School are designed to be engaging, progressive, and enjoyable, giving gymnasts the opportunity to develop skills, build confidence, and stay motivated in their training.
Each session includes elements of physical preparation and skill-based activities, supporting coordination, strength, and overall development.
No two sessions are exactly the same. Depending on the session type, gymnasts may also experience elements of choreography, dance and performance work (including ballet-based movement), skill-focused workshops, circuit training, partner and group work, and opportunities to build independence, work as part of a team, and develop age-appropriate leadership skills.
Gymnasts experience a range of disciplines through a two-week rotation, allowing them to explore different areas of gymnastics and build a well-rounded skill set.
Sessions are structured to keep gymnasts active, focused, and progressing, with activities adapted to suit the group and support individual development.
Gymnasts are also guided in basic gymnastics etiquette, including presenting at the start and end of each session. This helps build respect, awareness, and positive training habits within the gym environment.
Our aim is for every gymnast to enjoy their sessions, feel a sense of achievement, and continue building their confidence while developing and refining their skills each week.
